Conditions of boarding
- Cats must be vaccinated against Flu and Enteritis, and a current certificate of vaccination must be shown on arrival otherwise we cannot accept your cat.
- Flea collars are not a good control for fleas so please remove them 2 weeks prior to boarding apply appropriate flea control preferably from a vet.
- All collars to be removed before arrival.
- Booking forms must be returned within 14 days of receipt with the appropriate deposit otherwise your booking will automatically be cancelled.
- Whilst all care is taken to ensure your cat remains healthy during their say, they will be treated by a veterinary surgeon should they became ill.
- Deposits are non-refundable (This does not affect your statutory rights)

Delivery and Collection times:
Monday to Friday: 8am - 6pm - by appointment.
Saturday: 8am - 4pm - by appointment.
Sunday / Bank Holidays: 7am - 11am (No cats will be accepted or collected outside of these hours).

Christmas day/Boxing day/New Years day closed for collection/delivery
- All cats are groomed daily (temperament permitting) and have music playing throughout the day. Sometimes football.
- All beds, bedding and toys are supplied but to help the cats settle quickly, owners are welcome to bring a blanket or t-shirt with their smell on it. Not too smelly please.
- We have a special pen with stairs for geriatric or special needs cats ensuring their stay in KozyKats is as least traumatic as possible
- We accept socially challenged cats and have lion taming equipment at the ready.
- All outside runs are weather protected so umberellas can be left at home.
- Medication can be given with no extra charge. However we can no long accommodate insulin dependent diabetic cats.
Policy Statement - Personal data & GDPR
It is our policy to comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation regarding how our organisation obtains, stores, processes and disposes of personal data.
Our policy covers all aspects of how we handle personal data including, where relevant to our activities, the use of personnel data, PC/laptop and ‘Cloud’ storage, mobile phones, and any activity involving a third party acting in partnership with us or on our behalf.
It is our policy to:
- Ensure personal data security in our organisation;
- Have a GDPR-compliant contractual relationship with any third party that processes personal data with/for us, notably in relation to ensuring personal data security;
- Respect all individuals’ personal data rights, as described in GDPR and ICO guidance;
- Identify, and have a lawful basis for using, any personal data. This will include seeking/confirming ‘positive consent’ from individuals, if there is no other lawful basis;
- Have a clear, concise privacy notice, which is made readily available;
- Ensure all our staff are aware of the above, and if necessary trained, in relation to their own responsibilities.

To give your cat the best treatment if he/she should become ill whilst boarding, please call your veterinary practice and give permission for access to your cat’s medical records to Linda Foster during the boarding period.
Policy review
We will review this policy and our personal data needs at least annually, and seek to minimise the personal data we hold, in line with GDPR and the needs of the organisation.
